CCGS Closed Due to Weather

Library Closed Monday and Wednesday

The Clay County Genealogy Library will be closed Monday, Jan . 26th, and Wednesday, January 28th, due to heavy snow and extremely cold temperatures.

The library will be open the following week on February 2nd.  If you need to visit the library on a day we are not open, call at least a week in advance to make an appointment.  There is a $10.00 charge for opening the library on unscheduled days for 3 hours.

New Library Hours

Mondays and Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

 1st and 3rd          Saturdays 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

1st Sundays 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

If you wish to come at any times other than those listed above, please call in advance on Mondays or Wednesdays 812-835-5005.

There is a fee of $10.00 per hour for opening the library at unscheduled times.
