2023 Thanksgiving Pie Fund Raiser

Thanksgiving Pie Fund Raiser

The Clay County Genealogy Society is continuing to solicit donations and hold fundraisers to earn money to build a new library to replace the current one.

One of our current fundraisers is our homemade Thanksgiving Pie Sales.  We are taking orders for the following kinds of pies:  apple, pumpkin, sugar cream. pecan, and raisin.  The price of the pies are $10.00  except the pecan pies, which are $12.00.

You may come to the library or call on Mondays or Wednesdays from 10:00 to 4:00, during operating hours, to order your pie(s).  Pick up of the pies will be Wednesday, November 22,  2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 at the library.   We will also accept orders through the mail as long as the order and accompanying check arrive before November 18th.  We are not able to accept debit or credit cards.

There is still time to purchase raffle tickets for “Rake in the Cash.”  Tickets are one for $5.00 and three for $10.00

Thanks to donations and continuing fundraisers, we currently have over $140,000  accumulated towards the new library.
