Killion Cemetery
Washington Township, Clay County, Indiana

New in the library is an album containing photographs of the remaining stones in the Killion Cemetery; Doris THOMAS took the photographs and compiled the album. She has also recorded the information on all of the stones and provided an index of the names and pages on which the photographs are found.

The Killion Cemetery is a well-kept little cemetery located approximately ½ mile north of Highway 46 on County Road 375 East; the cemetery is about ¼ mile east of CO RD 375 E. In recent years Sam and Fred THOMAS have maintained the cemetery. Prior to that Merle CRAFTON maintained the cemetery for nearly thirty years; during that time he cleaned the cemetery of briars and scrub trees, installed a fence around the cemetery, and laid a white rock road from the county road to the cemetery
