Indiana State Library Genealogy Section: The collection includes 40,000 printed items (family histories, indexes to records, how-to books, cemetery transcriptions, family history magazines, and more) as well as microfilmed federal census records, Indiana county records, passenger lists, and military pension information. The collection includes hundreds of CDs with family history information, as well as online subscriptions to Ancestry Library and HeritageQuest, available for use within the Indiana State Library.

City of Brazil: Welcome! Brazil, Indiana is located in the heart of the Midwest, an hour drive from Indianapolis and a three hour drive from St. Louis, Chicago, Louisville, and Cincinnati. Brazil has a rich history in brick and clay industry. Evidence of this can be seen as far away as Oregon and Texas and as close as our own city streets. Today Brazil is home to Great Dane Trailers, MI Home Products, and several aerospace manufacturers.
